The Gintime team were out in force last night as the Hendrick’s Carriage of Curiosities hit Edinburgh and were honoured to be invited to the evening banquet created by Bompas and Parr aboard this most eccentric of train carriages. Whilst we don’t want to spoil the surprise for those of you who have yet to enjoy the extravaganza, here are some hints – charming hosts, edible flowers, magic pills that turn sour into sweet, luminous jellies, tragic looking but delicious little birds and, of course, divine drinks made by Louis Xavier Lewis-Smith. As you would expect it was a delightful and most unusual evening.
