Simon Ford and Audrey Saunders created the Bartenders Breakfast five years ago at Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans and it has now become the unofficial wrap party for the festivities. This year it was held at The Board of Trade just after the official awards ceremony. Sponsored by Plymouth Gin the party of parties featured live music from Space Capone and DJ Gruners, incredible cocktails from some of the finest in the business, Pink Gins poured through ice and, of course, bacon and eggs. It was a big night for the lovely Audrey Saunders of Pegu Club who not only won Best Bar Mentor, but was also married to her partner, Robert Hess, later that night with a brass band and procession of bridesmaids and groomsmen who have shaken cocktails under her tutelage.
