Lurve can be tricky so the ever delightful Hendrick’s Gin has come to the rescue with a service offering etiquette tips to both singletons and couples looking to woo potential suitors and develop their relationships. The Hendrick’s Refined Courtship Clinic will open in a secret location from 10th – 14th February 2011 in Covent Garden, London’s famous 18th century red-light district. The sessions are run by Dr Humphrey Sixwivs and Mrs. Isabella Forlornicate. Unusually, they begin with a voluntary intake of Hendrick’s Gin & tonic, complete with restorative cucumber garnish. After assessment, treatment covers aspects from polite body language to acceptable topics of conversation and procedures of courtship to reading signals from a lady’s fan movements.
Commenting on the clinic, Hendrick’s Global Ambassador, Xavier Padovani said: “It is often said that good manners cost nothing, but little is mentioned about their ability to impress. Basic etiquette and a decent understanding of how to act in the company of others can go a long way to receiving the approval of an admired one. There is much we can learn from the customs of bygone eras and we hope the advice offered will help a few hearts flutter this Valentine’s Day. Author Og Mandino once said, “I seek constantly to improve my manners and graces, for they are the sugar to which all are attracted.” Those who come to the clinic will leave a wiser and more attractive individual.”
The Clinic will held from 10th-14th February at 51 Neal St, Covent Garden, WC2H 9, further details available on www.hendricksgin.com
