Last night’s super glam fashion event at Mayfair’s hottest new club Le Baron saw the launch of Marie Claire RUNWAY, a new fashion bi-annual publication launching in both print and digital platforms for women who live and breathe fashion.
And Bombay Sapphire was centre stage serving the most delicious cocktails to the likes of guests such as The Saturdays’ Mollie King, Actor Sebastian De Souza, Designer Jasmine Guinness (pictured) , Model Noelle Reno and Actress Olivia Grant. Two bespoke cocktails were created for the evening – the Bombay Sapphire ‘Rhubarb Runway Fizz’ and the Bombay Sapphire ’Glamorous Moment’ and they went down a storm with the fashion elite. .
Here are the recipes:
Bombay Sapphire ‘Rhubarb Runway Fizz’ Cocktail
- 40ml Bombay Sapphire
- 15ml freshly squeezed lime juice
- 15ml Rhubarb Liqueur
- 50ml Fever-Tree Tonic Water
Add the lemon juice, rhubarb liqueur and Bombay Sapphire to a clean tall glass. Stir. Add plenty of cubed ice and stir again. Top with Fever-Tree tonic water then stir for a final time. Garnish with a straw, stirrer and a large lime wedge.
Bombay Sapphire ‘Glamorous Moment’ Cocktail
- 40ml Bombay Sapphire
- 20ml freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice
- 12.5ml vanilla sugar syrup
Measure all ingredients into the glass part of a cocktail shaker, fully fill with cubed ice, attach the top section securely, shake very hard then double strain (using a tea strainer) into a tumbler glass filled with ice. Garnish with two short straws and a spritzed and twisted grapefruit peel.
