Edinburgh stalwart Stuart McCluskey’s very own bar is just what you’d expect from a self confessed gin nut and total perfectionist. Nestled in the heart of Edinburgh’s drinkng triangle it’s a welcoming spot with a fantastic bar, comfy sofas and lots of nooks and crannies. Beefeater is the pouring gin here and the bar is well stocked with Gintime faves like Beefeater 24, Hendricks, Martin Millers, Plymouth and the London Gin. Speciality serves are the delicious Clover Club made with the bar’s own infused raspberry syrup instead of grenadine, and the Audrey Saunders inspired Tea Lady Fizz – Earl Grey tea infused gin served long with soda and ice. The food is pretty spectacular too with a daily changing menu that is served from 12 pm to 10 pm. It’s all home made and fresh including the bread and pastries. Cool sounds on Sundays make The Bon Vivant the perfect weekend chill out zone.
